- UVA radiation reaches to the deep skin layers and contributes to wrinkles and skin cancer risk. Nearly all (95 percent) of the UV radiation that we are exposed to is UVA.
- Freckles, age spots, spider veins, rough and leathery skin, fine wrinkles that disappear when stretched, loose skin, blotches, moles and seborrhoeic keratosis warts/lesions can all be traced to UVA sun exposure.
- UVA radiation also attacks the skin’s elastin, weakening it and reducing it’s youthful suppleness.
