You may have met Tracey Smith whilst visiting the clinic, she’s one of our experienced patient advisors and she is often asked which products she uses. This week she wants to share one of her personal recommendations.
“My absolute favourite of the products that we stock here at Good Skin Days is the Terproline EGF cream. I have used it for some time now as part of my daily routine and it has really improved the texture of my skin. It’s light and easily nourished, but is absorbed into the skin easily. It has healing properties to help with areas of damaged skin and is great for anti-ageing.”
One of our treating staff Natasha Zagajewski explains a little more about the science behind the product. “EGF stands for Epidermal Growth Factor and it is this ingredient that helps grow new and healthy skin cells, rejuvenating the skin and strengthening it’s protective barrier” she explains. “It is especially helpful in ageing skin which is beginning to lose it’s elasticity and which has a lack of firmness.”
Terproline® EGF is only available from accredited clinics and hospitals. These products are more concentrated than standard creams and intended for use prior to and post any cosmetic procedure, such as laser treatment or skin peels and for the express recovery of damaged skin tissue. Developed in burns units, it is also used in speeding up recovery from surgery or injury and used widely to reduce the risk and to improve the management of hypertrophic and keloid scars.
Terproline EGF cream is available from Good Skin Days in 30ml tubes for £40.
Good Skin Days stock many top brands including Avène, Heliocare, SkinMed, SkinCeuticals, NeoStrata and Skin Medica. We also offer a range of Aloe Vera products and Susan Posnick Cosmetics.
