Neostrata Glycolic Peels

1. Consultation: Before starting the treatment, you'll have a detailed consultation with our skin specialists to assess your skin type and concerns. To ensure the best possible results, preparation prior to treatment is essential. Pre-peel preparation products are designed to help prepare your skin for peel ingredients like Glycolic Acid. We recommend using one product for the NEOSTRATA® RESURFACE range.
2. Peel Application: The glycolic peel is applied to the skin, where it works for a specific duration depending on your skin's needs.
3. Post-Treatment Care: After the peel, soothing products are applied to calm the skin. There is often no healing or recovery time after a NEOSTRATA Glycolic Acid peel; skin looks and feels normal within a few days to a week after. Skin may be more sensitive than usual from the peel for 1 - 4 days, but may take a week or longer. During this time, you should use gentle products from the
   NEOSTRATA® Restore Collection. You will receive detailed aftercare instructions to maximise the benefits and ensure a smooth recovery.

Before Treatment

• Avoid sun exposure and discontinue use of retinoids at least one week before the treatment.
• Arrive with clean skin, free from makeup and heavy moisturisers.
• Prepare skin for 2 weeks before treatment as instructed by your practitioner.

During Treatment

• The treatment takes approximately 30 minutes.
• You may experience a mild tingling sensation as the peel works on your skin.

After Treatment

• Your skin might be slightly red or sensitive for a few hours post-treatment.
• Follow any aftercare we give you, which may include avoiding direct Sun exposure and using gentle skincare products.
