Laser Hair Removal pricing: Want to know the truth?
The way that many clinics and salons communicate their laser hair removal pricing is a little odd. As soon as you start looking at your options, you’ll be swamped with offers promising 50% off or something similar. As you might expect, this is only a sales technique that depends on you signing a contract or prepaying for your full course of treatment. Their regular single treatment rate will have been heavily inflated to make it seem like a discount.
Another technique some clinics use is to reduce the number of appointments included in your course. A course of eight appointments is agreed by all to be needed to get the long-term results you want in return for your investment in treatment. Some clinics, though, sell courses of six appointments, knowing that their patients will end up booking extra sessions at full price after those in order to complete their treatment.
With these tactics in mind, we spent some time researching the true prices of laser hair removal in our area. [Read more…] about Laser Hair Removal Price Comparison

With four children and a hectic fashionista lifestyle in the public eye, Victoria Beckham is surely a woman who relies on beauty treatments that are effective and that last. She recently opened up about what she called ‘the best tip’ that celebrity pal Eva Longoria had ever given her.
Quoted in the March issue of ‘Allure’ magazine, Victoria says “Laser Hair Removal is amazing. You can go back for little touch-ups if you do see little hairs appearing, but I’ve been very lucky that I haven’t had to.” “That was one of the best tips that Eva Longoria ever gave me.” [Read more…] about Victoria Beckham cites Laser Hair Removal as ‘the best tip’
You may have met Tracey Smith whilst visiting the clinic, she’s one of our experienced patient advisors and she is often asked which products she uses. This week she wants to share one of her personal recommendations.
“My absolute favourite of the products that we stock here at Good Skin Days is the Terproline EGF cream. I have used it for some time now as part of my daily routine and it has really improved the texture of my skin. It’s light and easily nourished, but is absorbed into the skin easily. It has healing properties to help with areas of damaged skin and is great for anti-ageing.”
One of our treating staff Natasha Zagajewski explains a little more about the science behind the product. “EGF stands for Epidermal Growth Factor and it is this ingredient that helps grow new and healthy skin cells, rejuvenating the skin and strengthening it’s protective barrier” she explains. “It is especially helpful in ageing skin which is beginning to lose it’s elasticity and which has a lack of firmness.”
Terproline® EGF is only available from accredited clinics and hospitals. These products are more concentrated than standard creams and intended for use prior to and post any cosmetic procedure, such as laser treatment or skin peels and for the express recovery of damaged skin tissue. Developed in burns units, it is also used in speeding up recovery from surgery or injury and used widely to reduce the risk and to improve the management of hypertrophic and keloid scars.
Terproline EGF cream is available from Good Skin Days in 30ml tubes for £40.
Good Skin Days stock many top brands including Avène, Heliocare, SkinMed, SkinCeuticals, NeoStrata and Skin Medica. We also offer a range of Aloe Vera products and Susan Posnick Cosmetics.
